Our Story

Jean and Don Cunningham raised eight children while living only a few blocks from the Pennsylvania College of Technology and it's predecessor institution, the Williamsport Area Community College. All eight of their children attended the Williamsport Area Community College or the Pennsylvania College of Technology.  Many went on to achieve advanced degrees and all had accomplished professional careers. Later, five of them, including Jean, were full-time employees at the College. 
In 1995, to recognize the strong connection between the Cunningham family and the College, as a memorial to those family members they've lost, and as a way to give back, the siblings created the Cunningham Family Scholarship.
